Copper Flashing Rolls .0216"

Copper sheeting is manufactured to the specifications of ASTM-B152 and is made from alloy C11000 copper. It is .0216" thick (16 oz per square ft). Copper sheeting is thin, but not quite as thin as copper foil.

This copper sheeting is soft temper, meaning it is not very “springy,” and it can be bent and formed by hand. Copper sheeting has several different applications including anything from crafts and décor to copper valleys and flashing for rooftops.

Copper flashing is also highly resistant to corroding, which makes it perfect for ocean climates, as well as for use under wood shake, ceramic, or slate tile. Metals often corrode when they come in contact with mortar, however, because copper is corrosion resistant, it is the perfect flashing material to use around masonry structures, including brick or stone chimneys.
